Rectangular stainless-steel overflows

Inox Weld manufactures wall (parapet) rectangular overflows in AISI 304/316L stainless steel for flat roofs, terraces, balconies and industrial sites. These overflows act as a safety outlet for excess water during heavy rainfall, protecting the waterproofing and the structure. The solutions are hygienic, durable and easy to maintain.

We offer overflows with various clear openings and spigot lengths, with straight or angled outlets, and the option to connect to a round downpipe (Ø75–Ø160) or a rectangular channel. Non-standard dimensions are produced to your drawing.

Technical characteristics & installation

Sizing is based on the roof/terrace area, the expected rainfall intensity and the safe water level height. The overflow is installed through the parapet or wall, with precise levelling and sealed waterproofing.

  • Material: AISI 304/316L, TIG welding and joint passivation
  • Opening sizes to choice (e.g. 40×80 up to 200×300 mm)
  • Accessories: leaf guard, jet deflector/flow director, decorative covers
  • Made-to-measure production and workmanship warranty

Rectangular overflows are installed on flat roofs, terraces and balconies as a safety outlet for excess water. They do not replace the primary gullies; they work alongside them and are set at the safety water level above the main outlet.
The quantity and dimensions are based on the roof area and fall, parapet height and the design rainfall intensity. With these inputs we provide a recommendation and flow calculation, installation details, and the correct flange for the specific waterproofing.
Overflows are supplied in satin, brushed or polished finishes. Available options include leaf guards, deflectors, decorative covers, and connection elbows for the external pipe. For reliable operation, periodically clean the guard and inspect waterproofing joints.
